FERTILISER FACTS - your questions answered

Getting your fertilisers right is probably the single most important thing in ensuring success. You can go for the easy option and just treat everything with a balanced fertiliser like pelleted chicken manure, but if you tailor the fertilisers you use to the particular crop you are growing, you will get much better results. It may seem complicated at first, but taking a little time and effort to understand how plants grow will enrich your gardening experience, so bite the bullet and get stuck in with our 'plain English' notes.
