SWEET POTATO - a gardener's notebook

Martin Stanley, gardening in the Wirral, posted this on "Allotments seed swap and shared advice", a facebook group. "Here's my sweet potato crop, lots of them but none over an inch thick. They were growing in my greenhouse, with lots of care and attention. I won't bother again."

Has anyone else had better luck?
