Repton Allotments
Access
Repton allotments are next to the railway line. Enter Repton Manor Road either from Maidstone Road or from Chart Road by going under the railway bridge from the tank roundabout, and taking the next left. This is a small, awkwardly shaped site, and the access is down a rather steep grassed path, but it is quiet and very pleasant and well-kept.

Soil and situation
Repton allotments are on a sloping site, partly surrounded by trees but surprisingly sunny and sheltered. The site is on the springline and, in fact, one allotment has been set aside and is no longer let because a spring rises on it. The soil is more open and free-draining than many sites, although because of its position soils can be wet. The centre of the site has a space set aside for bonfires - useful as it can be difficult to get material off the site and many of the plots are close to surrounding gardens.
Below is the plan of plots from the Council. . Every effort will be made to keep it up to date but minor changes may occur over time. The entrance is at the top of the plan - the main path goes past the triangular section and narrower paths give access to the other plots. The railway line runs down the lefthand side.
