Musgrove Farm Allotments

Access

Musgrove Farm Allotments can be accessed from Beaver Road, next to Marino's chip shop, or by a narrow footpath which leaves the lower end of Bond Road between gardens.

Do not confuse this site with the similarly named 'Musgrove New', a sub-division of the William Road complex.

Soil and situation

Musgrove Farm is easy to get to and is one of the largest sites in the Borough. The soil is a little heavy but not too poorly drained; a good firm loam and very rewarding to grow on. This site doesn't have the shading problems that bedevil some sites, and all the plots are sunny.
Below is the plan of plots from the Council.  Every effort will be made to keep it up to date but minor changes may occur over time. The entrance to the site from Beaver Road is at the bottom here, by the blank pale yellow area.
Use the + and - buttons at the bottom right of the image to blow up or shrink the plan.
