Access

Burton Farm allotments are in the triangle created by the junction of Faversham Road and Canterbury Road. They are accessed by a long track or lane leading from Nettlefield. Turn into Faversham Road from Canterbury Road and take the first right. Just before the junction with Dudley Road, the lane is on the right.

Soil and situation

Burton Farm allotments are on one of the quieter sites in Ashford. The site is entirely enclosed by private houses. There is no serious shading; a few small trees on the southern side. Larger trees on the northeast will make the soil drier but do not cast shade over the plots except very early on midsummer mornings.
Below is the plan of plots from the Council. Every effort will be made to keep it up to date but minor changes may occur over time. You will see the long entrance drive in yellow at the top of the plan.
Use the + and - buttons at the bottom right of the image to blow up or shrink the plan.
