Ashford Allotment Society
Ashford Allotment Society is a body set up some years ago to represent all the allotment tenants within the Ashford Borough area. You don't have to do anything to belong, you are automatically a member (unless you request otherwise). For this reason, you are not asked for a subscription and your responsibilities are simply the ones in your tenancy contract.
For the rules of Ashford Allotment Society as issued to the council by the Society, click here.
There are formal roles on the committee which are open to any member to stand for, and you can also put yourself forward as the representative for your allotments (elections are held every 2 years). In addition, there is the Summer Show, the Pumpkin Show in the autumn, and various other events like the Hospice Fete.

Official communications from the Committee or Chair of the Committee have been put on this website from time to time. When this is the case, it has been made quite clear where they come from. Otherwise material on the website does not represent the Ashford Allotment Society.
