Seed suppliers D. T. Brown are currently offering a selection of vegetable seeds for 99p a packet, with free P&P. Obviously, there is just a small range of varieties, and they don't say how many there are in a packet, but ideal ofr those on a budget with a small plot. Click here to go to the page with the offer!
Harringe Plants, an old-fashioned nursery at Sellinge, sell seed potatoes by weight. You can have a few of this, half a dozen of that - each goes in a seperate bag with a label, and you pay for the whole lot by the kilo. Convenient and inexpensive, and ideal for the smaller plot.
