Derelict plot at Musgrove New to get new tenants

11/6/2014

Plotholders who have been frustrated by the long-standing eyesore of plot 5 on Musgrove New site (adjacent to William Road) will be relieved to hear the plot has been split and is up for new tenants.

It is sad, however, that this plot, which was originally taken on to be used for gardening therapy, was never properly made use of, and the people who could have benefited so much from it never really got the chance.

The new site rep for Henwood is Christine Green, who has been site rep before and who took most of the really nice photos on this website. If you wish to contact her and don't have her details, you can join our Facebook group 'Ashford Allotment Group' or send an email via the publicity manager at the usual address.

I have just stumbled across this product for slugs and snails (click link here) - Grazers Slugs and snails. You spray it on. Has anyone tried it?
